Levi introduces David to Snow!

Hello Everyone! Easter was just 2 days ago and it's snowing! What a surprise to look out the window and discover half and inch of snow on the ground... I bundled David up and took him out for a couple minutes :) Levi went nuts and ran round and round to show David how much fun it is! I hope that you enjoy the photos of David's first snow.
God Bless!

Happy Easter!

Hello Everyone, I have been posting pictures occasionally, but thought that I would post an actual blog :) We had a wonderful weekend, spending time with family. Our Friends Kirstin and Michael visited on Friday from California- it was great to spend some time together since we haven't seen each other since were were in Disneyland. Chris and Jan came up to our place on Saturday and we got to give David a "real" bath for the first time, it was nice to have Jan's help with that, as I was concerned that I would do it wrong. On Sunday we went to Church- it was wonderful, as it was the first time we managed to make it to the service on time and stay the whole time since David was born! Then we headed to Port Orchard to visit with The Riedesel's and enjoy Easter Dinner. Enjoy the photos of our weekend!

1 month old!

I can't believe I have been a mom for 1 month already! David is so sweet and amazing, last night he let me sleep in 2 four hour segments! He is getting good at holding his head up a little bit at a time and has learned to stick out his tongue, lol. The mom/babies group leader says that he should start smiling at us in the next 2 weeks, I can't wait! Well our baby is hungry, so I better go for now!

A Date with Purpose

We decided to enjoy an evening at "Dinner's Done Right" Where we get to go and prepare lots of really cool meals, the provide all the ingredients pre-chopped, so you just measure and mix. Then they are stored in freezer bags that are labeled with the name of the meal and cooking instructions. It was a lot of fun and we can't wait to try our own gourmet handiwork. I think that they will come in very useful in our first months of being parents! On Thursday I went to World Vision and I got to meet everyone in Jonathan's new department and then Jonathan and I went out to Red Robin for Lunch- it has been a fun week :) We are really excited to meet David on Monday, I can't wait to see what he looks like!
God Bless and see ya'll soon!

David's Nursery

Hello Everyone! David's Nursery is just about ready for a baby! I am posting photo's cause I don't think that my description would do it justice. It is so cute- definately the best room in the house. Just a few more details, like a crib mattress and the ever elusive "A" are needed. Jan sent up some leftover material from the growth chart she made for us and it works beautifully on the corkboard- she iven sticked it up for me! I can't wait to meet him and introduce him to all of our visitors! You can see in the photo's where the "A" should be- I put up a paper one temporarily until they get more in the store.

Trip to Leavenworth

Our Annual trip to enjoy the festivities at Leavenworth with Dan and Joy was such a great time this year! It was adorable to see the twins all bundled up in the snow, I can't wait till next year, when David gets to join us. It was snowing heavily on our way over the passes and we had to chain up just a few miles ahead of Snoqualmie, we were grateful because they were good to have over Blewitt as well. The rest of the trip was pretty easy. Our way back was free and clear until it started pouring rain in the Auburn area, but Jonathan was just glad to be free of the snow. It was absolutely beautiful. I hope you enjoy all the photos!
