This was my new cousin, Hunter. He was born after 40 hours of labor and an emergency c-section on Sunday, June 18th, he fought for life until
Wednesday, June 21st.He was 7 lbs, 12 oz and 21 inches long.
Hunter had his momma's eyes and nose and his daddy's hands.
His feet were ticklish, and he is one of the most perfect and cutest babies that I have ever seen.
I don't think that there will ever be so much love given to one person in 4 days ever again.
I thank God for the chance to meet my cousin, but will never understand why we couldn't keep him for a lifetime.
The top two pictures were taken on Wednesday, shortly before they took him off the ventilator, The bottom photos were taken soon after he was born, before being life-flighted in a Leer Jet over the mountains to Children's Hospital.
