Today is the one year anniversary of me working here at SuperFloors! It's kind of cool.
Friday after work last week I stopped VERY suddenly to avoid hitting a semi-truck that pulled out in front of me. It was a bit scary. Unfortunately it also wreaked havoc on my poor brakes. The Explorer started sounding a little funny and driving oddly. Jonathan deemed it Absolutely necessary to take it in before I could drive it. So we took my parents to Mt. Rainier in the Suzuki on Saturday for some hiking and a picnic. We had tons of fun! The mountain was beautiful and the weather was very nice.
Sunday we had our new floors put in, I am so excited, they look really good! It did of course leave a fine layer of dust all over the house.
Being Labor day weekend, there wasn't a car repairman to be found anywhere until Tuesday morning, so I took the car to the nearest place and walked home and spent the day cleaning the house (finally got rid of the floor dust). When I finally received a call from the auto-repair guy it was 4:30 and I had missed a whole day of work, just to find out that it wouldn't be done until noon on Wednesday. So I did some more house cleaning, until the car was ready and put in a half day of work on Wednesday. Now here I am on my one year work anniversary at my first full day of work in 6 days!
I will attempt to post pictures of out beautiful Mt. Rainier trip soon!
God Bless!
