We got to see the giraffes walk by.. great chance for a close up :)
The Jaguar was so pretty, his fur looked like plush velvet
The gorillas were pretty cool, one of them jumped at the window right in front of me!
I liked the Wallaroo's... still not sure what the difference is between them and kangaroo's
Here is David and I in front of the Grizzly habitat
Pink Flamingos- they have a special place in the hearts of us Ferguson's
I finally got to see Girrafes!
The Hippo's put on quite a show... and made noises like a motor boat starting up!
The male Lion was impressive, huffing and roaring- he could be heard all over the surrounding area!
I had such a wonderful time at the Woodland Park Zoo... Jonathan, David and I went to celebrate my birthday. I was so excited to see the giraffes, and they were stunning! I think that they are so regal and elegant. I also loved the jaguar- he looked like velvet and the grizzly bears- so dangerous and cuddly at the same time. While it was drizzling most of our trip- the abundant trees kept us fairly dry and we had a lot of fun :) Please enjoy the photos!

I think the wallaroo is a cross between the wallabe and the kangaroo. I just saw this on Ellen. Jan
very nice...and if you were wondering what a wallabee is...it is basically a miniature kangaroo.
AWW! The new pictures of David on the web album are so cute!! He is getting so big! Its great seeing him using the blanket I made him. Thanx for the pics. ttyl.
