Treasured Memories

Julie, Mom and I went to a Ladies even at our church, called treasured memories, it was a tea and dessert evening, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The speakers were delightful, the caroling was fun and there was a 5 or 6 year old little girl who performed a small medley of Christmas songs for us- which was delightful.

Levi loves the Snow!

Boy did Levi and I have fun in that first snow, we played catch with snowballs and generally horsed around in the backyard. I was running around in my pajama's, snowboots, a sweatshirt and some gloves... Levi was happy in his fur coat and Jonathan was snug in his bed! Once we were all up and moving Jonathan and I decorated the Christmas tree with Christmas music in the bakground. After that we enjoyed "Sounds of the Season" at the Tacoma Symphony, it was a wonderful day!

Enjoy the Photos of the Snow and God Bless!

Christmas Tree Hunt

Happy Christmas Season Everyone!

On the The First of December Jonathan, Levi and I enjoyed decorating our Christmas Tree, some Snow and a Christmas Symphony! What a wonderful weekend :)
On Friday after Thanksgiving we headed to a local u-cut place to pick out the perfect Tree.. here are some photos :)

When we arrived we were given a saw and we headed toward the Noble Firs, we carefully inspected the first one that caught our eye and met the height requirements. Cautious that it seemed to be too easy we kept it in sight while we looked a few other trees, to our surprise we went back for the first tree we liked.. never had we been able to find the perfect tree in 15 minutes! Jonathan cut it down and we carried it down the hillside. We got it up in the house and it was still perfect! Soon I will post a few photos of it all decorated :)

Gingerbread Builders

Happy Wednesday! I had so much fun this weekend hanging out with Jan, Grandma, Laura and Teresa :) We made our gingerbread creations and boy was it ever fun. Jan tacked quite the project by creating a mercantile and sweet shop; complete with miniatures inside that could be seen from the open door. I am impressed by her skill and patience for the tiny details. Grandma made a beautiful gingerbread wreath, complete with "oranges" with cloves stuck in... made me wish they were real so I could smell the tantalizing aroma! Teresa created a picture perfect Christmas tree farm. complete with Hot cider, Cookies, Horse drawn sleigh and a cozy fire pit! Ihad to leave before it was finished and can't wait to see it in person. Laura created the Candy Express- a delectable train surrounded by snow and carrying every childs dream load- candy! I decided on a little gingerbread village, containing a brick bookstore, toy shop, brwonstone bakery and stone and log cafe. It was a lot of fun creating the various facades. Please enjoy the photos and don't forget to check out the Ferguson Project to see the final results created by Jan, and Teresa :)
God Bless!

Autumn in Longview

Hello All! In addition to making Gingerbread houses with the Ferguson Gals; Chris, Jan, Jonathan and I all got out to enjoy a Beautiful walk around the lake before heading home. I loved the chance to see fall in all its glory. Please enjoy the photos :)

Hello Everyone! We had a great Party this last Saturday, It was so much fun to see friends and to check out this years Corn Maze, at the Carpinito Bros. Farm. We all met up at the maze, got some hot kettle corn and wended our way through the corn stalks, while this years wind storm did some damage we still had a lot of fun. Afrer we successfully completed both mazes we hung out for a bit and enjoyed seeing the Rowe Twins all dressed up in the pumpkin patch. After our adventure in the cold we headed to our house to warm up and finish the food preparations. We enjoyed a fantastic Turkey feast with mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, crescent rolls, candied yams and pumpkin bread. Carlene brought some amazing Apple Dumplings and we also had Pumpkin Bread Pudding for dessert. Enjoy the photos of allt he fun we had!
