Owen Beach

Oh what a Lovely Monday we had!
David and I picked up uncle Jeremiah and headed out to Owen beach to play in the sand and sun, we were to be met there by aunt Julie and Grandma McQuiston. We had LOTS of fun- except for when David discovered the water in the Puget Sound is COLD! but he got over that pretty quickly. Grandma and Aunt Julie brough a picnic lunch and we took turns chasing David around the beach while he tried to pet everyones dog. It was a near perfect day- all we lacked was Jonathan to be there with us... I still can't believe that it was a Monday! God Bless and enjoy the photos!

Picnic at Marymoor

Saturday Jonathan, David and I traveled to the fair city of Redmond to meet Dan, Joy, Isaiah, Grace + a friend and his kids for a picnic at Maymoor Park. It was a BEAUTIFUL day :) we enjoyed BBQ hot dogs, potatoe chips, soda and the always amusing antics of 5 toddlers! At one point Isaiah took off to try to see the cars... Dan gave chase and Gracie shadowed him, it was pretty funny- Dan had no problem keeping the kids out of the street and it was cute to watch the 3 of them head back hand in hand. The kids loved playing on the big-toys and David REALLY seemed to wish that he could climb like the big kids... its getting close though! Sadly not pictured: before leaving (but after we chucked everything including the camer into the car) we checked out the off-leash dog park that is part of Marymoor.... David likes dogs so much... and there was some kinda Great Dane convention and David LOVED them! He walked right up to a big grey and white one and the big dog looked down and David and they were nose-to-nose! David started laughing and the HUGE dogs owner was astounded- needless to say it was absolutley priceless and I am thankful fo the adorable image burned into my memory if not into pixels- I am just sorry I can't share it with all of my readers ;) The rest of our weekend was spectacular as well, and I will be posting some more after I get a bit of sleep.
Love to all and May God bless!

Happy Easter!

Just a quick Post until I really have time to write all about this wonderful Easter weekend, while I know that Easter is most certainly not about bunnies, baby chickens or flowers, they sure do make cute toddler photos! May God Bless you all, for HE HAS RISEN INDEED!

Family Fun

Jonathan (and everyone else blessed to work at WV) had Good Friday off, so we got an extra family day before the official start of the weekend. We decided to head to the Boeing Museum of flight, David was a bit annoyed with the length of the drive but was happy enough once we arrived and he got to play. The kid's discovery zone is pretty cool, David was thrilled with the oportunity to push all sorts of buttons and knobs that lit up. He got to sit in 2 cockpits, one with dad then again with momma and he liked walking around touching everything. He has recently dicovered his ability to step on things... and whenever he sees something unknown on the ground he chooses to do one of 2 things: either pick it up and put it in his mouth or stomp on it several times until he is quite sure that its dead! I can't wait till he kills his first spider, lol :) We had a lot of fun and can't wait till the renovated control towers opens up next month- he will love all the knobs and switches there :) Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!
God Bless :)

Sunny Sunday at the park

Got another Blog for you! The kids had an easter egg hunt after church today.. David found 3, I was helping out in the nursery, but he and Jonathan seemed to manage alright without me :) We also had a potluck which we enjoyed immensly and then once we arrived home we changed into "play clothes" and headed for the park, its been a balmy 74 degrees today and are getting ready to throw some meat. mushrooms and veggies on the BBQ! We hope that everyone is having a weekend as wonderful as ours!

Daffodil Parade

What a WONDERFUL weekend we have been having! Saturday started out cool, but very sunny, and it didn't take long for the chill to leave the air. So excited that the weather was making it possible, we headed to Sumner for the Daffodil parade :) It was a pretty impressive event, every third or forth display was a high school or Junior high band and cheerleaders so there was a lot of misic and goofy mand uniforms to look at, I am disappointed to admit that David seemed pretty fascinated by the cheerlears...and the really big trucks, but mostly the cheerleaders. The Seafair pirates were there, harrassing and delighting the crowds... they had a cannon that they shot a dummy out of every coiuple hundred yards, it was loud and impressive! Also in attendance the Daffodil royalty of course, some horseback riders, shriner clowns, and a very cool entourage of very old tractors. Enjoy the photos! We had a lot of fun and David seemed to enjoy the change of scenery. God Bless!

Another walking video!

Happy Saturday All! David has become very talented lately in the walking department and we decided we should show him off a little :) Enjoy

Fun in Wenatchee

David and I went to Visit cousin Jess and baby Stevie Lynn, we had a lot of fun hanging out, talking and wachign the kids play together... Stevie was crawling everywhere, and pulling herself up to cruise a bit. David managed some pretty long walks all by himself- whenever he deemed me to be too far away from him, it seemed to spark a realization in his abilities- ever since we came home he has been doing an amazing job! He is so mobile now that he only gets stuck if he sits down and can't get back up. Sorry this is
short
bus David keeps messing with my keyboard.
God bless!
